In this demanding conservatory renovation in Purkersdorf, an octagonal conservatory of around 15 square metres was comprehensively renovated. The special construction, with the balcony directly above it, and the large glazed surfaces made the renovation technically particularly challenging. The aim was not only to renew the existing conservatory functionally, but to preserve its bright and open character while improving it for the long term. A key part of the renovation was renewing the glazing with modern safety glass and thoroughly renovating the glass roof. The existing glass roof was replaced with a new glass roof system, so the conservatory still feels very bright and spacious while meeting today’s requirements for safety and quality. The entire floor area of the conservatory was also carefully reworked. The existing supports and timber parts were professionally restored and the existing timber structure was upgraded again. The direct access from the conservatory into the idyllic garden underlines the special living character of this room. The renovation shows how even complex and individually designed conservatories can be professionally modernised and preserved for the long term. As experienced conservatory professionals for conservatory renovation throughout Austria, we know the particular challenges of a wide variety of conservatory structures and rely on sustainable all-in-one solutions that combine technical quality, functionality and aesthetics. The next planned phase of this project is the aluminium cladding of the existing wooden conservatory. Even now, the renovated conservatory can once again be enjoyed as a bright and high-quality living space.
