In this project in the Weinviertel region, the customer wanted to renovate his conservatory to improve its use in winter. The old locksmith sliding doors were leaking, stiff and led to condensation. This had a major impact on the indoor climate – it quickly became cold, damp and uncomfortable.
We replaced the existing doors with modern aluminum lift and slide doors – with a large proportion of glass, smooth-running technology and improved thermal insulation. The new elements close reliably, are durable and provide a bright, open living space with a garden view.
An important part of the renovation was the sealing underneath the sliding doors. Everything was rebuilt here to permanently prevent water ingress, draughts and cold bridges. This not only protects the building fabric, but also increases the energy efficiency of the conservatory.
Outside, we have neatly clad the floor zone with a 2 mm thick, rear-ventilated aluminum edge plate – for reliable weather protection in rain, snow and frost. The solution is low-maintenance and visually discreet, with no visible screw connections.
Inside, the construction has been upgraded with solid wooden frames to create a warm and homely atmosphere. The interplay of aluminum and wood combines modern technology with natural design.
The result: a modern, airtight conservatory that can be used all year round and is both functional and visually impressive.
As always with MOSA: everything from a single source – from disassembly to precise, clean final assembly.
